Arrival by air

Vienna International Airport (Schwechat) is located about 20 minutes from the city centre by taxi or 30 minutes by public transport. There are the following ways to get to Vienna from the airport:

• Airport bus
  Price: approx. 8€ for Vienna Airport Lines. Tickets can be bought from the driver.
  
  
  
• CAT (City Airport Train)
  Price: approx. 12€ (return ticket approx. 20€). A separate CAT ticket counter is located in the arrivals hall, where you can also obtain information about all CAT services.
  
  
  
• S7 (suburban railway)
  Price: approx. 4.20€ (includes travel on the Vienna public transport should you have to change to bus, tram or subway in the city). Ticket machines are on the platforms at the airport and at Wien Mitte.
  
  
  
• Airport taxi
  Price: approx. 30€. The cheapest option is to order a taxi in advance. This can be done on the companies' webpages.
